Join VMCI for a special Member Spotlight at IMPACT Community Action Partnership’s Des Moines location on Thursday, November 19, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. This gathering offers an inside look at how IMPACT reduces the barriers and burdens families experience by increasing access to essential needs and providing dignity‑centered support across Central Iowa.
Attendees will explore IMPACT’s University Avenue facility through a guided tour, learn about the organization’s mission‑driven approach to stabilizing and strengthening families, and see how volunteers play a vital role in advancing this work throughout its five‑county service area.
In true VMCI spirit, we’ll also roll up our sleeves for a hands‑on volunteer project—contributing directly to IMPACT’s seasonal efforts and taking a moment to reflect on the power of service as we head into the week of Thanksgiving.
