About the event
Join Volunteer Managers of Central Iowa for our January Member Spotlight at the Botanical Gardens!
Attendees will receive a tour of the facility, learn about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, and participate in creative botanical activities, including making dried-flower cards and a small botanical artisan project for the Botanical Garden Shop.
We will also explore the importance of meaningful volunteer recognition through a brief educational presentation. As part of the activity, attendees will have an opportunity to write handwritten cards thanking volunteers who have made a difference within their organizations.
Come connect with fellow volunteer-engagement professionals, discover more about the Botanical Gardens, and leave with practical inspiration for showing volunteers how much their service matters.
